Founded by Wayne Brandt, Managing Partner, CapFund owns and acquires multifamily properties in Los Angeles, Texas, and Nashville, and provides preferred equity investments to experienced multifamily operators across the Western United States.
CapFund targets multifamily properties with good tenancy represented by middle income renters, located near major employment centers, public transportation, freeway access and essential services. These investments are held for medium to long-term capital appreciation while generating attractive cash-on-cash returns.
CapFund co-invests alongside its investors as both the Managing Member as well as a Member. A core investment principle of CapFund is to be financially aligned with its investors.
The primary focus of CapFund today is to acquire, reposition, and build a sizable portfolio of multifamily properties.
We take an institutional approach in the smaller non-institutional market segment attracting capital that is targeting steady income growth, consistent payment of dividends, and long-term appreciation in our core infill markets.
Our three pillars include investor alignment of interest through general partner co-investment, disciplined investment and underwriting standards, and institutional level reporting and transparency.
We target investments in light value add and core plus Class B multifamily properties located in Southern California and Texas. We hold these investments for long-term capital appreciation while generating attractive cash-on-cash returns.
